Co-ed softball league
Registration for a 7-3 co-ed softball league at McMinnville Civic Center is currently open. The league is set to start in late April and will be played on Wednesday nights. Roster forms are available at McMinnville Civic Center on Monday thru Thursday from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. The fee is $400. Rosters and entry fees must be turned in by April 23.

The City of McMinnville Water Department is making the following Operational Changes. Effective January 3, 2018 the Water Department will be utilizing nexBillpay for all on-line and in-house credit card transactions. The Customer shall be responsible for any transaction fee(s). Also, effective January 3, 2018, the After Hours Service Fee will be applied for any service(s) after 4:00 P.M.
2017-18 Winter Tennis League
The McMinnville Parks and Recreation Department would like to announce registration has begun for the McMinnville winter tennis league to be played at the McMinnville Civic Center indoor tennis courts
Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays beginning Dec. 11. The league will play doubles matches only and is open to men and women of all ages and skill levels. A limited number of players and teams will be accepted.
Registration will end Dec. 2. Registration forms will be available at McMinnville Civic Center. Entry fee for the league is $30 per player.

The McMinnville Parks and Recreation Department is announcing fall soccer registration for ages 3-18. The registration fee is $50 per player and is open now. Fall Youth Baseball and Softball Sign-ups
Registration is July 10 – Aug. 5. Drop-in registrations accepted at the Civic Center Monday thru Saturday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., or Thursdays 4 to 7 p.m. The fee is $50. Age groups: ages 5-6 boys and girls; ages 6-8 boys and 7-9 girls coach pitch; ages 9-11 boys kid pitch; ages 12-14 boys kid pitch and ages 10-12 girls kid pitch. Games are on Monday and Thursday evenings and season games run Aug. 21 through Oct. 30. For more information call Terry Beard at 473-1212.

These individuals have a proven history of service to McMinnville and it's citizens and are well prepared for their new responsibilities.

2016 Volleyball League
Citizens Police Academy
Applications are now being accepted for this year’s Citizens Police Academy. The class begins Thursday, Sept. 22, but applications must be submitted by Sept. 12. The sessions are free and have been offered by McMinnville Police Department since 2007. With space limited, enrollment is offered on a firstcome, first-serve basis.

Pelham named Water DIrector
Anthony L. Pelham will join the City of McMinnville as Director of Water & Sewer Department on January 4, 2016. He is a hometown man, who was born and raised in Warren County and is excited about the opportunity to return home to lead the City of McMinnville’s Water & Sewer Department.
