Speak Up on Capital Improvements

Speak up on Capital improvements_webpage cover

As part of our
2021-2022 budgeting process, the City of McMinnville seeks the community’s input to prioritize projects in our Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). Recent examples of capital improvement projects include the new elevator in City Hall and the renovation of the Milner Recreation Center.

We have created a list from our recent Strategic Planning Session and previous discussions of capital improvement needs. Take a few minutes to rank the projects by completing an online survey. Your input will help the City’s leadership with capital improvement budgeting and planning. It will ensure that decisions about capital investments will be valued by the community.

Complete the following online survey through Friday, May 14.

This survey is closed. Thank you to all of our citizens who responded and gave us helpful guidance!

What is a Capital Improvement?

Capital projects typically have a long-term benefit to the community and require extensive planning and funding. They have a lifespan of more than 10 years and address systemic issues in the community such as updating infrastructure, improving public health and wellness, or business growth. Recent examples of capital improvement projects include the new elevator in City Hall and the renovation of the Milner Recreation Center.
