Can I buy a pass?
No season passes will be sold this year.
Can I share my pass with someone else?
No. All of our season passes include a photo ID, so sharing your pass with anyone else is not permitted.
Do you accept checks or credit/debit cards?
We do not accept personal checks but we do currently accept Credit/Debit cards.
The McMinnville Civic Center can accept checks as payment for seasonal passes.
I do not want to swim. Do I still need to pay admission?
Yes. Anyone entering the pool gates MUST pay admission.
Do you have lockers?
Yes. We do have lockers that are available on a "first come/first serve" basis but you will need to bring your own lock.
Can I bring a cooler with me to the Gilley Pool?
We do not allow outside food or drinks inside the pool gate area however, if you would like to bring a cooler you may leave those in your car. We have a few picnic areas located outside the pool gates. You are permitted to leave the pool area to utilize a picnic area for eating lunch if you wish. Be sure you get your hand stamped at the pool office in order to be allowed back in the pool gates once you have finished eating your food. We offer a variety of foods available for purchase at the Gilley Pool including Pizza, hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, candy, ice cream as well as a selection of Dr. Pepper products to drink.
Are there life jackets available?
Yes. We do have some life jackets available at the pool office free of charge. Outside life jackts, puddle jumpers, and flotation devices are allowed if you would like to bring your own.
Is the pool wheelchair accessible?
Yes. Our pool has a zero entry point as well as a wheel chair lift. If you need help operating our wheel chair lift , please consult one of our many trained lifeguards.
Are goggles allowed?
Face goggles or goggles that cover your eyes and nose are permitted.
Is the Gilley Pool a smoke-free facility?
Smoking, vaping and the use of e-cigarettes is not allowed inside the pool gates. We have designated smoking areas situated on the premises. If you feel the need to smoke while visiting our facilities, please consult the pool office for your nearest designated smoking area.
What swimming attire is acceptable?
Swimsuits are required for anyone entering the Gilley Pool.
Cutoff shorts, denims, thong bikinins, or shorts with metal brads or buttons are not allowed. Swim shorts and a white t-shirt are allowed.
Babies and young children who are not considered to be "potty-trained" need to wear a swim diaper at all times while swimming. If you do not have a swim diaper, they are available in many sizes for purchase at the Gilley Pool Office.
What happens if it rains?
The Gilley Pool remains open during periods of rain. However, operations will be suspended if there is any threat of lightening in the area. The Gilley Pool will re-open as soon as the threat has passed. Please be sure you know the local weather before you come.
Rain Policy: During RAIN or STORMS the Gilley Pool may be forced to be shut down temporarily for your safety. No Rain Checks will be given.
Do you offer refunds?
The Gilley Pool does not offer refunds.
Can I drop my child off for the day?
Yes, but children younger than 14 years old must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older.
How do I obtain an application for summer employment?
We generally start our search for summer employees sometime between February and April.

Are your lifeguards certified?
Yes! All Gilley Pool lifeguards are certified lifeguards and trained in CPR and first aid through the American Red Cross.
