One Night - Conway Twitty Show

 June 29th 8:00 PM
The Park Theater

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 8, 2018) - Eight-time Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) nominee and CCMA "Male Vocalist of the Year" and "Producer of the Year" winner, Gil Grand, performs One Night With Conway at the Park Theater in McMinnville, Tennessee on Saturday, June 29.  Show time is 8:00 p.m.

From "Hello Darlin'," "The Rose," "Tight Fittin' Jeans," and "Love To Lay You Down,"  Grand showcases more than 25 of Conway Twitty’s biggest hits mixed with the stories behind the songs and interviews with people that knew Conway best. The 90-minute show is backed by award-winning musicians, complete with classic country wardrobe, and transports the audience to a time when Conway Twitty ruled the airwaves.

Grand's biggest musical influence comes from the vocal stylings of Conway who sold more than 50 million records with 55 number one singles.  Country legend Ronnie McDowell says, "It's amazing how much he sounds like my buddy Conway, probably the closest I've ever heard!"  And, MCA Records label executive shares, "Gil sounds amazing as Conway!  I so loved Conway and sometimes I stop the world, close my eyes and listen to a Conway performance. He was the best!"

Conway once said, "A good country song takes a page out of somebody's life and puts it to music."

 The Foreigner
July 12th - 13th

“The Foreigner” is a fun, two-act comedy by American playwright Larry Shue. The story takes place in a fishing lodge in rural Tilghman County, Georgia where two Englishmen, Froggy and Charlie, arrive as guests. The shy Charlie agreed to accompany Froggy on the trip after his sick wife begged him to go. When people at the lodge try to talk to Charlie, however, he remains silent: he is terribly shy, depressed about his wife's illness, and cannot find the words to reply. Froggy claims that Charlie cannot talk because he is a "foreigner" from an exotic country, and does not understand English. Taking the explanation that he's a non-English speaker as fact, the lodge's guests quickly begin revealing their secrets, and Charlie soon discovers scandals amongst some of the residents of the lodge.  This show will have you laughing from beginning to end. Rated PG.

The McKameys

If there is one word that describes The McKameys, it would be sincere. Each member of this Southern Gospel singing group is sincere in their love for the Lord, sincere in their love for the music they sing, and sincere in their need to spread the Word to others through their music.
Organized as a trio of sisters -- Dora, Peg and Carol McKamey -- in 1954, the group is in its fifth decade of spreading love and blessings through the music they sing. Even though there have been several changes in the group's makeup, the wonderful harmonies, great songs and sheer joy of singing has never gone away. Whether they are performing "I've Made Up My Mind", "Roll That Burden On Me," "I Will Trust You Lord," "Right On Time," "Arise," or earlier hits like "Who Put The Tears" or "God On The Mountain," there is a light that shines through onstage when they perform.
Since 1954 the quality of The McKameys has always been there. The harmonies, the songs and the love of the message and for the people it reaches has never wavered. Fans can feel it emanate from the stage because nothing can take the place of sincerity when it comes to delivering the Gospel to the people.
After 38 years of full-time ministry, the McKameys will be retiring at the end of November.
Don't miss this chance to see them perform for the last time!
