When will I receive my first water bill?
The first water bill will be sent out after the service has been on for six (6) weeks.
If my water has been cut-off for non-payment, what will I pay to be reconnected?
You will be required to pay the past due bill plus one of the following fees:
- If during office hours, the fee is $25.00. Call our office at 931-473-7542
- If after 4:00 p.m., the fee is $25.00 plus an additional $40.00. Call the After-hours number at 931-224-8150
- If it is on a weekend/holiday, the fee is $25.00 plus an additional $50.00. Call the After-hours number at 931-224-8150
What do I need to do to have water service turned on?
Customers must come to our office at 101 East Main Street (City Hall) and complete an application card. They must present two (2) forms of identification and place a deposit and pay a service charge fee. Customers must be 18 years old or present a marriage certificate. When will my water service be subject to cut-off?
Water customers are subject to being cut-off ten (10) days after the due date on the bill. If we have your current phone number on file, you will receive an automated call reminder approximately three (3) to five (5) days before cut-off day.
What do I need to do to transfer my existing service to a different location?
All current and past due bills must be paid in full & pay a $25.00 transfer fee.
Will I get a notice before my water service is cut-off?

Where do I get a plumbing permit?

Can I pay my water bill with a credit card?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, & Discover credit cards. Service Provider convenience fees of $1.50 minimum or approximately 2.75% apply.
Do I have to come into the office to pay my bill?

We can set up a monthly automatic bank draft .
We have payment drop boxes located at 202 Bell Street and at
City Hall, 101 East Main Street (front of building). We also have a walk-up window at City Hall (facing the Warren County Courthouse).
Payments can be made at one of the following Banks: Homeland Community
Bank, 1st National Bank, Citizens Tri-County Bank, Security Federal Bank.
