  • I continued working on setting up our new 311 system called SeeClickFix. The program can be accessed by both the public and City staff from an app or online from a computer and allows staff to manually enter and process requests made by the public in person or by phone. Ultimately it will enable staff to promptly respond to resident inquiries and requests and empower community members to collaborate with local leaders on issues and improvements.
  • Safety committee meeting held on Wednesday 1/27 at 9:00 am to consider the purchase of a fire truck and addition of a stop sign at Westwood 5th Ave and Boyd Ave.
  • I worked on identifying alternative projects for the CDBG grant if we do purchase a fire truck outright. We had planned to apply for a fire truck, so we’ll need to change course. We have several sewer inflow and infiltration projects that we can apply for.
